Five Golds and One Silver Medal Mark a Successful 2011 Iowa Games
The 2011 Iowa Games were quite a success with Mr. Beau Jangles and Zoey
medalling in combined test and stadium jumping.  Zoey came out of full
retirement to put in a stellar weekend.  She won gold in the Beginner Novice
Combined test and 2'9" Stadium Jumping.  She won a silver medal in 2'6"
Stadium Jumping.  Mr. Beau Jangles nearly made a clean sweep of his events
by winning gold in Novice Combined test, 3'0" Stadium Jumping, and 3'3"
Stadium Jumping.  Both participated in dressage as well and came away with
respectable scores.
Ninja Peforms at July Event
On July 24, 2011, Kirkwood
Community College held a
private performance at the Iowa
Equestrian Center.  Rachel,
along with other area
horsemen, were asked to
participate in the event.

Neapolitano Juwela performed
beautifully and enjoyed the
applause.
New Addition to MRF
In August, MRF acquired Sudden Secrets Marne.
Marne is a 2011 AQHA bay filly by A Touch of
Sudden and out of Untold Secret.
Marne Makes Show Debut at Largest
Quarter Horse Show in Iowa

Sudden Secrets Marne made her debut
performance at the Iowa Quarter Horse
Association Futurity held at the Iowa
State Fairgrounds, September 22-25,
2011.

Marne placed 9th in the Open Weanling
Late Fillies class and 5th in the Limited
Open Weanling class.
It has been a busy show season for MRF.  Rachel competed at the
various shows recognized by the
Iowa Dressage & Combined
Training Association throughout the year.  She qualified three
horses for the year-end championship show held in October at the
Iowa Equestrian Center.

Mr. Beau Jangles won the championship at the Novice Level
Combined Test.

Zoey won the championship at the Beginner Novice Level Combined
Test and
My Little Princess was reserve champion.

Rachel also attended a couple of the
Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center
Fantasy Schooling Shows and came away with some unexpected
year-end awards.

Mr. Beau Jangles was the reserve champion in the 3'3" jumpers.

Zoey was the reserve champion in the 2'6" jumpers and My Little
Princess tied for third in the 2'6" jumpers.

It was a tremendous year for the veteran horses and they proved
they still have what it takes to compete with any horse regardless of
age.
