Successfully trained horses in a variety of disciplines with numerous wins and awards. Lessons in dressage, cross-country, stadium jumping, barrel racing, pole bending, liberty, and work in hand. Specializing in: Starting Young Horses Correct & Effective Riding Position for all Disciplines 13 years of experience as a trainer and instructor.

Services Include:      Lessons      Training      Clinics      Exhibitions

Lessons: Beginner to advanced students welcome.  Lessons include education in general horse care and management so students become well-rounded horsemen. Rachel will work with you and your horse at MRF or at your farm.  Lessons available at MRF from April 1st to November 1st or Rachel will travel to your farm year round if within a reasonable distance.

Training: Rachel believes that no training program is complete without the proper schooling of the rider/handler.  She will accept horses in training as long as the rider/handler is willing to learn along side his/her horse.  Individual training sessions will be available at MRF from April 1st to November 1st or Rachel will travel to your farm year round if within a reasonable distance.

4 the Luv of Horses Novice Horsemanship Camp:

Medicine River Farms is pleased to offer it's "4 the Luv of Horses" Novice Horsemanship Camp for horse enthusiasts.  This interactive, hands-on program is designed to teach students the knowledge and skills necessary to build a solid foundation to become horsemen in a supportive and encouraging environment. Clinics: Rachel has spent much of her career studying and perfecting the various aspects of work in hand.  Working closely with Portuguese trainer, Vitor Silva, she has developed the timing and skills necessary to enhance a horse's movement from the ground.  There is always something new to learn and Rachel is continually working on developing her skills to a higher level. Rachel offers individual lessons and group demonstrations on the various ways to work horses in hand including, but not limited to:  longeing, work in hand, long-lining, and liberty work. Private lessons and group demonstrations also available for dressage, jumping, starting young horses, riding position, speed events, and liberty work. Rachel is available to travel to your facility year round.  Participants will enjoy individual attention in a fun learning environment.  Auditors welcome.

Exhibtions: Rachel and her talented group of horses are available to perform at your next event demonstrating the classical art of dressage, liberty work, or the ancient art of horse archery.  MRF's leading star is their Lipizzan stallion, Neapolitano Juwela.  His ability to perform at liberty and under saddle offers audiences a unique opportunity to see the talents of the Lipizzan breed.
